'Put yourself in Lakeland College\'s design incubator for two years, and you\'ll be ready to break out into the interior design world. When you walk into your classroom, you’ll be choosing a spot in a studio setting. Your desk is a drafting table. You’ll also find a computer lab dedicated just for interior design technology students set up with drafting software. Along your two year college journey, you’ll develop practical skills such as drafting and rendering. You’ll also learn design fundamentals, history, space planning, materials, finishes and construction. During second year, you’ll attend a major design show in Toronto. Along the way you’ll also participate in the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) student design competitions as part of your classroom work.'
